Do you have clutter in your home? I bet as you read this article you can look around you and see a stack of paperwork to sort, or a pile of washed clothes waiting to be folded and allocated a home? Maybe you have hundreds of photos that need to be put into albums? Or maybe you have a wardrobe that is overflowing with three different size clothes? Does this sound familiar? | Don't worry you are not alone, according to the Institute of Australia, who conducted a study of over 1000 people, "88 per cent of homes have at least one room that is over run with clutter". It also points out that of this figure "59 percent of women have one or more room in their home that they don't want visitors to see because of clutter". Clutter in our homes and hence playing on our minds, is a very real problem in todays society. We have more disposable income than we have ever had, persuaded by clever advertisers to constantly buy the latest and most fashionable clothing and intrigued by the latest gadget or craft supplies. Purchasing all these causes us to fill our homes with clutter. This clutter then fills our minds with worry every time we walk into that room, or look at the pile of papers we need to sort. |
